I have recently found myself in the habit of stirring in just a little of my Lancôme SPF 50+ sunscreen with my NARS sheer glow foundation. The results have been lovely. My skin has gradually become more dewy, supple, radiant and even (of course, this goes hand-in-hand with a good sincere regimen of cleanser, toning lotion, and moisturizer).

I use literally no more than a pea sized amount of foundation mixed on the back of my hand with half the amount of sunscreen. The watery consistency of both these particular products allows them to work wonderfully together.

NARS foundations on their own dry quite rapidly, so adding the sunscreen also provides one with a little extra time to blend away any imperfections.

I like to set this with a light mist of Urban Decay’s All Nighter setting spray, and a little of MAKE UP FOR EVER’s HD setting powder.

To summarize: Adding sunscreen to your foundation is a great way to minimize some of the steps in your makeup routine, without sacrificing staying properly protected from the sun.

Until next time, stay beautiful!
