Bonjour tout le monde!

So, I have been wanting to do this beauty profile/questionnaire for a long while now, so I finally decided to just go ahead and do it! I already have quite a few questions answered in my F.A.Q., but  this should cover anything I’ve missed, along with updating a few things here and there.

So, without any further ado!

Beauty Profile:

Eye Color

Natural Hair Color
I am a natural brunette.

Skin Undertones

Most Prominent Facial Feature
Personally, I find that the feature(s) I tend to notice on myself the most would be my tall nose, and high cheekbones. However, others more often will comment saying that my strongest (or most prominent, rather) feature is my lips.

Favorite Facial Feature
Definitely my cheekbones; I obsess a bit over cheekbones.

Feature You Would Change
I would consider a rhinoplasty, if I weren’t so terrified of hideous (and/or fake looking) results.

Key Point Of The Face
The eyes! Always the eyes.

Skin & Personal Care Routine:

First Personal Care/Beauty Step In The Morning
Gently wash my face.

Favorite Skin Care Products
This is going to sound a little odd, but I am currently using almost all Phylia de M. products for my entire skin care/hair/body routine(s). Yes, they are hair products, but they’re so good, and so versatile!

Most Important Skin Care Routine Step
Hands down, definitely properly cleansing and regular exfoliation. Do not skip, or get lazy with these! Along with drinking plenty of water and applying a good serum or facial cream, this is the secret to beautiful skin!

Often Neglected Skin Care Routine Step
Eye cream. I know, I know…

Most Important Skin Care Product
This is going to sound oh-so-clichéd, but… sunscreen. Sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50+ for me, since I am so pale. I like this one by Lancôme.

Cannot Live Without
My Clarisonic PRO in Pink!

First Step To Makeup Routine
If my face is already well cleansed and moisturized, I will immediately apply my sunscreen for the day.

Most Important Makeup Tools
My beautyblender, a good foundation brush, and a skinny concealer brush! My emphasis is all about a flawless complexion.

Going to be perfectly honest – I usually skip this step entirely. I feel like my skin prefers to breathe, and because of the sunscreen I use, most primers don’t always sit on it too nicely. If I had to choose though, Tarte makes an Amazonian clay primer that is quite lovely.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Siberia. I had never experienced the joy of an ‘exact match’, until coming across this foundation! I have tried others since, but I keep going back to this, as nothing compares.

NARS Concealer in Chantilly. Perfect match, amazing consistency, good coverage, and I love the convenient packaging.

NARS Pressed Powder in Flesh. I use this primarily for blending out the edges of my blush or bronzer in to my liquid (Sheer Glow) foundation, or to gently mattify my t-zone. I will be switching this out shortly, for the NARS Loose Powder in Snow.

I am obsessed with the NARS Multiples! Riviera is the perfect pink for me, and it has been my go-to shade ever since picking it up! A little NARS Orgasm Blush (powder compact) layered on top of it, and it looks absolutely stunning!

I always, always wear NARS Laguna Bronzer. Cannot live without it! It is the perfect contour shade, it blends beautifully, and leaves simply the most gorgeous, flawless finish!

It’s a toss up between the NARS Illuminator in Copacabana, or NARS Highlighting Blush in Albatross. Both blend beautifully, and leave the most gorgeous glowy highlight!

I am loyal to Anastasia Soare when it comes to my brows; the Anastasia Highlighting Brow Kit is what I have been using for years, and refuse to part with! Note: I am going to cry when I run out.

Eye Primer
As much as I love ALL of the Urban Decay Primer Potions, my favorite is (yes, I am biased) still the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base.

This is where I am less opinionated, but yet still picky as ever. I love Urban Decay, NARS, Tarte, Too Faced, Smashbox, Lorac… the list goes on. If I had to choose only one eyeshadow to wear forever, I am currently going to be silly, and say that I would be perfectly content wearing Sidecar by Urban Decay (I love my NAKED palette).

I skip eyeliner more often that not, but when I do wear it, I wear Guerlalain’s Terracotta Loose Powder Kohl Liner in 01 Black. I love the Arabic eyeliner application method, since I am prone to stabbing myself in the eye.

I am a bit of a mascara addict, but the long running favorite has been Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara – it contains a lash-growth serum that I from what I have noticed, really has minimized my lash fallout.

I use Phylia de M. Clean, and it’s absolutely divine!

Phylia de M. Condition.

Brush & Comb
I just use a boar bristle paddle brush, and a wide toothed comb. Nothing special!

Styling Products
Phylia de M. Connect (spritzed all over my scalp, and from roots to ends), and then I put a small amount of Phylia de M. Condition from the middle of my hair to the ends, to lock in moisture.

Treatment Products
The entire line of Phylia de M. work as treatment products for stressed scalps, and improve overall scalp and hair health. My HG hair line, and as long as I can help it, I will never use anything else!

Anyway! That pretty well covers the majority of it! I skipped the body care questions, since my answers are pretty boring. I don’t shave (I use Arabic wax or my Braun epilator), and I moisturize (when I remember to do so) after showering, and that’s about the sum of it.

If any of you end up taking this questionnaire too I would love to see your results, so be sure to leave a comment with the link to your questionnaire post!

Hopefully this proved to be a bit insightful, if nothing else!

I hope you are all staying warm, and enjoying your autumn!
