While on vacation last week, I picked up a few new products from NARS that I had been interested in trying for a while now. Just a few quick photos for the time being, but I will be doing swatches of all of my NARS products, along with detailed reviews in the very near future!

So, I don’t think I mentioned this in my F.A.Q., but NARS is my very favorite cosmetics brand, hands down. Love the colors (and their names… hehe!), the textures, and the versatility. The price tags are what I would consider mid-range. Not as expensive as say (my other favorite), Guerlain, but definitely not as inexpensive as a drugstore brand.

But of course – you pay for quality, right? Right!

This is the NARS Multiple in Riviera… as it happened, this was a bit of a happy accident – I had intended to buy Malibu, but unintentionally grabbed a tube of the wrong color! Upon getting in the car, and looking at the bottom of the box, I realized that I had purchased Riviera, much to my dismay (I had not swatched Riviera while in Sephora, so I was very skeptical as to if I even wanted to take it home).

Well, all is well that ends well, because on my very pale skin, Riviera was the perfect shade of pink. I usually avoid blush of any kind, simply because it usually makes me look clownish, but in this case, it worked absolutely flawlessly with my NARS Sheer Glow foundation. C’est vraiment magnifique!

The NARS Highlighting Blush in Miss Liberty was literally an item I picked up on a whim. I swatched it on my wrist, and absolutely loved the way it looked – a nice shimmering seashell color, that I imagined would look splendid on my very fair skin… oh how I was right! I will definitely be doing a tutorial on how I like to use this in the future; it works incredibly as a brow highlight as well!

And finally, the NARS Pressed Powder Foundation in Flesh! Admittedly, I don’t use this in the typical fashion, but rather, to blend out bronzer/blush in to my Sheer Glow foundation. I like to maintain the dewy look of the Sheer Glow, but this beautifully suits my purpose to blend and set my other products!

And there we are! The product I would definitely recommend picking up out of these three would be the Miss Liberty Highlighting Blush… it would look gorgeous on all skin tones (and especially on darker ones, as it would provide a sublime sheen)!

If you have any other NARS products to suggest, or ones you would like to see reviewed, please leave a comment for me!

Until next time,

P.S.

I super love the products you have picked from NARS. I super love the shades for they look light and warm. Putting on these kinds of shades will definitely look natural.
