I am not shy about openly admitting that I am all about the brows. Well structured eyebrows can make an otherwise ordinary face a work of art.

Anastasia Soare of Anastasia Beverly Hills seems to agree with me on that sentiment, as she has created a rather revolutionary line of brow products, my favorite being the globally sold-out (and finally back in stock!) Dipbrow Pomade!

What makes Dipbrow so special apart from other brow products? Well, let me break it down for you…

Dipbrow is a gel formula, which, unlike most of the cream formula competition out there, is incredibly easy to blend, even easier to erase if you make a mistake, and it sets so well that it’s still in place after I complete my 90 minute Bikram hot yoga class in 105˚F (41˚C) heat and 40% humidity. Now that’s impressive staying power! But don’t be intimidated – Dipbrow comes off like a charm with an oil based makeup remover, or just some good ole facial cleanser.

As someone who was a huge fan of Anastasia brow powders and Brow Wiz pencils, I can honestly say, they are no competition for Dipbrow Pomade. It’s my best brow yet!

Now, down to the nitty gritty: If you are a medium to dark brunette like me, you have a range of 3 colors to choose from. Online it can be a little confusing to decide which one is right for you, so I have taken some of the guesswork out of it. Behold – swatches!

Dark Brown
Your basic, neutral dark brown.
Ideal for medium-toned brunettes with ashy undertones and/or golden highlights.

Chocolate
A warm brown that’s appropriately named – approximately the color of a melted Hershey’s bar.
Ideal for medium to dark-toned brunettes with auburn to red undertones and/or highlights.

Ebony
A dark black-brown, and my preferred choice.
Ideal for dark brunette and black haired individuals, regardless of undertone.

And there you have it! A (hopefully) easy to break down look at Dipbrow for any brunette looking to make a brow update.
