Most advanced serum?

M.S. Apothecary Liquid Gold Cell Quench Serum:

“Meet the most advanced serum in the battle against aging created by Beauty Engineer, Mary Schook. Free of perfumes, dyes, parabens, oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfaes, petrolium, and silicone it is vegan friendly and safe for all ages and skin types.”

I must admit, I am intrigued by a product with claims like these, that only runs $129 USD. My less-than-magical Dior serums are a good $30 more than that, and don’t nearly impress me as much as they should for the price tag.

Has anyone tried this product? I would love to know!

I purchased the Cell Quench several months back and it really is amazing stuff! I have combination skin prone to acne but I’m pretty sure this would work on any skin type since none of the ingredients are known triggers for common skin problems. BUT you have to make sure it’s applied correctly! My friend received a sample in her recent Birchbox and swiped the rollerball applicator multiple times around her face after she had patted it completely dry and didn’t like the way it felt on her skin so I had to yell at her a bit for not coming to me first ;) Cell Quench is a serum concentrate so the skin must be damp or use a water mist so the skin absorbs the serum better. It’s a bit odd to apply something to your face that is far from viscous like most serums, but holy crap, after a month my skin was super hydrated, clear, and I just glowed! At your age I’d think this would be both an excellent preventative skincare and treatment. And now I’m jealous because I’m 33 and wish this stuff was around in my twenties …anyways, gotta make more gold to get more Liquid Gold!
