A great many of you have been asking to see my bedroom (a.k.a. the land of sweet dreams) in detail, and so I have finally taken the time to put together a little shop-able post for you!

I don’t believe that interior design should ever have an ‘overdone’ feeling, because the moment it does is the moment it ceases to be relaxing. Simple color palettes, little bursts of warm and cool. Lots of texture; that’s my recipe for the perfect bedroom!

Touching back on texture… I’m a huge fan of shag rugs because of all the wonderful dimension and warmth that they bring to any space. I am also a fan of the unconventional, so instead of putting a topper on my bed, I used this amazing sheepskin shag rug from Rugs USA. Instant style refresh!

I am gradually adding new pieces to my room as I come across things that really resonate with me and the vibe I’ve created; I’ve found patience is the absolute key when it comes to building up furnishings in any space.
